FK 3:567:] Possibly implying that a plurality of (file)formats & metadata, meaning a proliferation of information nodes holding the 'same' content would increase the probability of survival (security in numbers); i.e. confirming fitness as reproductive success? [Cf. also the principle of LOCKSS = Lots Of Copies Keep Stuff Safe]. Does this apply in ecology? Stämmer det verkligen?] Please note, though, that it is not numbers alone that should count as reproductive success here, but also the variation among the progeny, that vouches for a wider network, multiple nodes with increased relevance.
